The Bottom Line Archive After studying Electronic Engineering in the mid-eighties, Simon Banks started working for control panel company Scantronic in a technical role and eventually took responsibility for the UK commercial team. He co-founded CSL DualCom in 1996, pioneering dual signalling to over 80,000 live units in the UK to date. He represents the electronic security industry for the BSIA on TC1 and the ATS signalling working group. Simon regularly speaks for the NSI, BSIA, SSAIB and ACPO and is a contributor to the IPCRes policy for Insurance companies, where he is in regular contact with many of the industry’s movers and shakers. ‘The Bottom Line’ Column published monthly in PSI Magazine brings together many of these people to comment on the current events in the Electronic Security Industry.
